AEON Tohoku Launches Original Craft Beer " Michinoku Roppuku Beer"
AEON Tohoku will begin selling its new original craft beer, “Michinoku Roppuku Beer,” starting Thursday, December 25, 2025, at AEON Tohoku stores throughout the region.
This craft beer was developed in collaboration with Helios Shuzo Co., Ltd., and is brewed at AEON Super Center Morioka-Shibutami’s own brewery, BREWING LAB. The beer follows the traditional Kölsch style from western Germany, using quality water and top-fermenting yeast, then aged at low temperatures to deliver a light, refreshing taste with an aromatic character.
The packaging features illustrations inspired by festivals from the six prefectures of the Tohoku region, expressing a wish for smiles and happiness throughout the area.
