From July to August, summer festivals that drive away the heat are being held all over the country!
Here, we would like to introduce these summer festivals and AEON stores located nearby.
This first article is about Kyoto's Gion Festival!
Gion Festival is one of Japan's three greatest festivals with approximately 1,000 years of history. This festival is held for about a month in July with various events. Among these events, “Yoiyama” (held on July 14th – 16th , July 21st – 23rd) and “Yamahoko Junko” (held on July 17th , 24th) are feature events that are popular among tourists from local and overseas!
Come and enjoy the colourful festival that speaks of summer in Kyoto!
